After the takeover of the social media company Elon Musk now awaiting to serve as temporary CEO of Twitter for a few months. Musk, the world’s richest man, is also the CEO of Tesla Inc and heads two other ventures, The Boring Company and SpaceX.
Musk’s engagement with Twitter affected his other company, Tesla, the shares dropped over 8% on Thursday, as investors fretted and indicated Twitter could be a distraction from running the world’s most valuable electric-car maker.
Parag Agrawal, Twitter’s CEO in November, is determined to remain in his role until the sale of the company to Musk is completed.
Though Musk hasn’t publicly stated what would be his role at Twitter, given his prior commitment to SpaceX and Tesla, Parag has also remained vague about his future prospects at the company.
