Judge Dismissed Elon Musk’s Request For Twitter Inc User Details

Elon Musk’s requests for Twitter Inc user details, amounting to trillion of data point, were dismissed as “absurdly broad” by an judge on Thursday. The Bussiness tycoon will get some amount of data though, as he seeks after his bid to end his $44 billion procurement of the company.

Calling it “absurdly broad” Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick of Delaware’s Court of Chancery said that “no one in their right mind has ever tried to undertake such an effort.”

CEO of Tesla Inc has had the required document and informations to proceed the case, said the Judge.

“My overall impression is that plaintiff has agreed to produce a tremendous amount of information to defendants, and that the information plaintiff has agreed to produce is sufficiently broad to satisfy most of plaintiff’s obligations,” wrote Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick of Delaware’s Court of Chancery.

Twitter was ordered to turn over data from as many as 9,000 accounts to check the number of spam users on the platform.

Twitter had said that information as of now does not exist and it would be difficult to reproduce it, despite the fact that McCormick gave the organization fourteen days to create it.

“We look forward to reviewing the data Twitter has been hiding for many months,” said Musk’s attorney, Alex Spiro, in a statement. Musk said that he wants to test that accuracy behind the fact that the company is hidding its actual number of spam accounts by representing it as only 5 %.

A five-days trial has been scheduled for October 17.
