Nirmala Sitharaman, the finance minister, will introduce her fourth Union Budget in Parliament on Tuesday. Because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, this will be the second paperless budget. Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Economic Survey on Monday, which forecasted an optimistic 8 to 8.5 percent GDP growth. At 11 a.m., the Union Budget will most likely be unveiled.
However, it should be mentioned that in the year 2020, Nirmal Sitaram gave the longest budget speech in Indian history, lasting approximately 160 minutes.
