After having a brief meeting of 40 minutes with BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar at the latter’s residence on Wednesday, a formal MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, who leave the Congress party last year, has quick joint with the leading party BJP.
Former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy has announced his decision to join the BJP, “I decided today that I’ll join BJP in Telangana. Once Telangana achieved statehood, we all had great aspirations. We can do wonders with funds for one of the richest states. But what happened is exactly the opposite”
He was contest at Lok Sabha elections from Chevella on a TRS ticket in 2014. Later, after a tussle with TRS, he quit the TRS before the 2019 elections and joined Congress. He contested again from Chevella but lost to the TRS candidate. He resigned from Congress in March 2021. And on July 1st, 2022, he announced confirmed joining BJP.
