Fourth Expressway in UP: PM Modi to inaugurate 296-km Bundelkhand Expressway tomorrow

The 296-kilometer-long Bundelkhand Expressway, which will link Chitrakoot in the underdeveloped Bundelkhand region with the Lucknow-Agra Expressway close to Etawah, will be officially opened on Saturday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to the government, the fourth expressway project in Uttar Pradesh was finished eight months ahead of schedule and in a record-breaking 28 months. In February 2020, PM Modi lay the project’s foundation.
The four-lane expressway, which was constructed for a cost of Rs 14,850 crore and can be expanded to six lanes later, will pass through six districts — Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Mahoba, Banda, and Hamirpur — before coming to an end in Gonda village, which is close to Bharatkoot in the Chitrakoot district of Bundelkhand.
