Authorities of Gauhati University has suspended the Controller of Examinations ( COE), on Thursday, due to delay in the declaration of results of the Undergraduate Examinations under Gauhati University in
the year 2022.
It has been stated in an order issued by the Registrar and Disciplinary Authority of the University that Dhruwajyoti Choudhury, COE, of Gauhati University is suspended for delaying in the result announcement of the UG examination, 2022.
“Pending drawal of Disciplinary Proceedings, Dr. Dhruwajyoti Choudhury, Controller of Examinations, Gauhati University is placed under suspension with immediate effect until further order because of anomaly and delay in declaration of results of the Undergraduate Examinations of Gauhati University in the year 2022.”
According to the reports, the deputy controller of examinations of the university is also assigned the additional duties of the Controller of Examinations. Another order from the office of the registrar, Dr. Debahari Talukdar was assigned the responsibility of controller of examinations.
The order stated , “As per approval of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, G.U. dated 18.08.2022, Dr. Debahari Talukdar, Deputy Controller of Examinations; G.U. is hereby assigned the additional responsibility of the Controller of Examinations /c, G.U. in addition to his normal duties with immediate effect until further order.” “Dr. Debahari Talukdar is requested to take over the charge from Dr. Dhruwajyoti Choudhury, Controller of Examinations, G.U. and submit a joining report to the undersigned with a copy to the Treasurer, G.U,” the order further mentioned.
