Google To Make Good Quality Content Rank Higher With New Update

Google is carrying out new updates to cut bad quality and unoriginal content in Search results, in order to make it easy for public to view good content. An update called the “Helpful Content Update” will begin rolling out from August 22 globally to English language clients. “We know people don’t find content helpful if it seems like it was designed to attract clicks rather than inform readers.

So starting next week for English users globally, we’re rolling out a series of improvements to Search to make it easier for people to find helpful content made specifically by and for people,” said Danny Sullivan, Public Liaison for Search. This update will assist with ensuring that “low quality and unoriginal content doesn’t rank on top for any search result.

This update will make sure that it won’t happen especially for online-educational materials, entertainment, shopping, and tech-related content, he said in a blog post on Thursday.

The new update will also ensure to rank those searches which have better quality of product reviews over the past years which will likewise get an update. This update is an effort to reduce low quality content and make authentic and useful content easier to find in search, said Google.

“For instance, in the event that you look for data about another film, you’ll see more outcomes with exceptional, bona fide data, so you’re bound to peruse something you haven’t seen previously,” the organization informed.

Last year, Google unable a series of updates to show in depth review of a product or service on the basis of one’s expertise, in the search result. Google mentioned that they continues to refine the system and will make further changes to rank better quality content to higher.
