Sunita the domestic helper was freed from the BJP leader’s Ashok Nagar apartment by Ranchi police as a result of an information from a Jharkhand government official. Sunita had sustained several, serious wounds to various bodily areas. At Ranchi’s Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS), she is presently receiving treatment.
The woman informed the reporters following her rescue that Seema Patra regularly beat her. Sunita also claimed the suspended BJP leader brandished her with a hot pan, shattered her teeth with an iron rod, made her wipe the floor with her tongue, and forced her to lick urine. “Seema Patra used to beat me with a belt, a ladle, and an iron rod. Sunita described the torture in detail, including the fact that “she even brandished me with a hot pan.” The tribal domestic assistant also said that Seema locked her in the room without even giving her any food or drink.
