A headmaster committed suicide in Assam’s Lakhimpur district after being unable to use the Assam government’s mobile applications for digitally managing works.
Gopal Chandra Sarma, a headmaster at a primary school in Santapur village, Bihpuria, in the Lakhimpur district, has been identified as the deceased. The headmaster, according to reports, hanged himself near his home with a piece of cloth.
When police learned of the event, they rushed to the scene and discovered the headmaster’s body hanging. Police discovered a suicide note written by Sarma immediately before he committed suicide at the scene of the event.
He stated why he took such a drastic measure in the note. He said that the current digital educational system had driven him to commit suicide since he was unable to manage the online method utilizing mobile applications due to a variety of challenges.
