Protest wearing black bands outside Parliament…

In protest against the suspension of 12 MPs, opposition leaders were seen wearing black bands. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, KC Venugopal, and Trinamool Congress MP Dola Sen were among those who took part in the demonstration.

MPs from the opposition carried banners and placards with slogans such as “Save India,” “Save Democracy,” and “BJP is Killing Democracy.”

Opposition members protested beside a Mahatma Gandhi statue on Parliament grounds on Thursday, calling for the suspension of MPs for the rest of the session to be lifted. In a show of defiance, opposition leaders wore black bands. Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, KC Venugopal, and Dola Sen, a member of the Trinamool Congress, were among those who participated in the demonstration.

 On the last day of the Monsoon Session, 12 MPs from opposing parties were suspended from Parliament’s winter session for allegedly causing a disturbance.
