Following her demand to lay siege to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's official mansion, Prabgathi Bhavan, in protest of TRS workers reportedly attacking her Padayatra in Narsampet assembly constituency on Monday, the police had surrounded Sharmila's home.
However, Shamila was able to get extremely close to the Pragathi Bhavan before being stopped by the police who blocked the roads. In the center of the city, the commotion created a major traffic bottleneck.
While her damaged caravan trailed behind, she was driving one of the damaged cars. Sharmila was urged to exit her vehicle by the cops. Sharmila, though, resisted giving in.
Sharmila stated to the media that she intended to show the Chief Minister the automobiles that the TRS "Goondas" had destroyed.
"Why isn't the TRS supremo removing the Goondas who damaged our vehicles and threatened us? Why isn't anyone being held accountable for the attack on us when I am being detained and placed under house arrest for the entire day? she questioned.
