“I picked up hands and legs, and other human body parts…’ teacher after Afghan bomb blast
Khalid Zadran, the Taliban-appointed spokesperson for the Afghan capital’s police director, told Bloomberg that the suicide bomber hit an education center in a Shiite neighborhood of Kabul on Friday, killing 19 people and injuring 27 others. Zadran stated over the phone that many of those killed were high school graduates attending the Kaaj Higher Educational Center to help prepare for college entrance examinations.
“I picked up hands and legs, among other human body parts. All that was left were a few of my old students, “One of the professors was cited by Sarwary in his tweet.
As a mock university entrance exam was being administered in Kabul’s Dashti Barchi district, which is primarily home to members of Afghanistan’s minority Shiite community, the attack happened early this morning.
