Most of east and northeast India, areas near east central India, and some portions of west south Peninsular India are anticipated to see “normal” to “below normal” rainfall in July. According to a statement from IMD, July’s monthly rainfall across the nation is projected to be “normal” (94 to 106 percent of the long-term average). Based on data from 1971 to 2020, the long period average (LPA) of July rainfall across the nation is approximately 280.4 mm.
