A man named Tapas Chandra Swain from Odisha Sambaipur who is the senior assistant at Regional Education Directorate shows the nation real act of kindness towards the stranger’s belonging as he had all the opportunity to take away with him the rupees 20 lakh worth gold ornaments the bag which he has found while he on his way to home on the road but the honest man instead call his friend and submit the bag full of ornaments to the Ainthapalli police station.
Swain says that he has waited for the owner in hope that the true owner will shows up but nobody does. ” When no others turned up, I called up a friend and the Ainthapalli police station. I then went to the police station To deposit the bag . The inspector then made a seizure list of the ornaments kept in the bag” said Swain.
Fortunately the husband and wife came to the same police station where he brought the bag to deposit that’s where he find out that the missing gold ornaments were lodge complaint on the same police station. Sambaipur SP Gangadhar was ecstatic with his honesty and on Tuesday rewarded him as token of appreciation with rupees 1,000 . ” We hope more and more people will emulate Swain” said Gangadhar.
