Internet Suspended In Rajasthan’s Bhilwara Amid Tension Over Man’s Murder

After a 22-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death on Tuesday night, the internet in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara was disconnected this morning. ANI quoted Bhilwara district collector Ashish Modi as saying, “Internet services in Bhilwara would be suspended until 6 a.m. on Thursday, May 12.”

According to ANI, police have filed a first information report (FIR) and additional personnel have been deployed in the region to ensure peace and order.

When the young man went to settle a dispute with his younger brother, he was allegedly stabbed to death. The case’s specifics are yet unknown.

A bandh has been organized by some right-wing organizations in response to the murder. After communal unrest in Karauli, Alwar, and Jodhpur in recent weeks, the Rajasthan Police Force is on high alert.

The cops are doing further investigation. The suspected murder occurred in Kotwali Police Station’s jurisdiction.
