Joker 2: Writer-Director Todd Phillips Confirmed the Sequel of the 2019’s “Joker” Movie

Director Todd Phillips confirms that a Joker 2 script has been written with an image of the cover and Joaquin Phoenix reading the draft.

Following the success of ‘JOKER’, the sequel of the movie has been confirmed by the director himself. Making 1.1 billion worldwide and winning Best Actor seems to have convinced Joaquin Phoenix that franchises are good.

He posted to Instagram the first confirmation that the sequel to 2019’s Joker is moving forward, titled “Joker: Folie a Deux.”

Phillips shared a photo of the script cover, written by himself and Scott Silver. In the same post, he included a shot of star Joaquin Phoenix reading the screenplay.
