Juvenile tasked with murdering Salman Khan arrested by the Delhi Police

Two major members of an international terror module, including a minor, were caught by the Delhi Police’s Special Cell. They were wanted in a number of terror cases, including the RPG attack incident at the Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali, Punjab, and the plot to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan and others.

According to Special Commissioner Police, Special Cell, H.G.S. Dhaliwal, the arrested suspects were significant nodes in the joint terror network of Canadian gangster turned terrorist Lakhbir Singh Landa and Pakistan-based Khalistani terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda.


Arshdeep, the suspect who was apprehended, was wanted in connection with IED recovery cases from Shahabad, Kurukshetra, and Sirhali Police Station in Tarn Taran, Punjab.

According to the official, the minor was also wanted in connection with the killings of gangster Rana Kandowalia on August 4 outside a private hospital in Amritsar and builder Sanjay Biyani, who was killed on April 5 in Nanded, Maharashtra.

“The apprehended JCL has also divulged the assignment given to him by Lawrence Bishnoi to get rid of star Salman Khan along with eluding Deepak Surakhpur and Monu Dagar (in jail). Landa Harike was handling Arshdeep, while Rinda was handling the JCL, according to the official.

The official claimed that the minor participated in the plot to attack Salman Khan along with other suspected individuals. For a variety of reasons, they were unable to perform a recce. The youth was later instructed to murder businessman Rana Kandowalia.

Dhaliwal stated that a motion to have the juvenile tried as an adult will be made before the court. According to the official, the court will decide whether or not to trial the juvenile as an adult after he or she turns 16 years old.
