Kareena Kapoor Khan is terrified when a fan tries to grope her at the airport
When a throng of fervent admirers surrounded superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan at the Mumbai airport on Sunday night, she received an unpleasant shock. The actress experienced the shock of her life when a male fan attempted to approach her while pretending to take a selfie. Although Khan’s bodyguard was able to remove the disrespectful fan away from her, the incident traumatised the “Jab We Met” actor.
Khan can be seen in a recent video grinning strainedly while being surrounded by a massive group of fans who are all clamouring for a selfie. She is seen losing her cool as a male fan tries to touch her shoulder, though.
Since its publication, the video has become very popular on social media. Internet users have spoken out in favour of Khan and denounced the fans’ desperate actions.
This is not right, said one user. Fans ought to know proper conduct. Fans should be aware of their limitations, said another. “People have gone insane or what? Have any decorum, another netizen reprimanded.
According to reports, Khan was his route to London to begin filming for an unnamed Hansal Mehta project. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, this movie will have the ‘Heroine’ star playing the sole protagonist, with no hero opposing her. Khan will play a rookie police officer in this movie, which is rumoured to be a murder mystery. With this project, Khan plans to make her producing debut. The “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham” actress had declared on Instagram a year prior, in August 2021, that she would be entering production in association with Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms.
“They are great ladies and I’m pleased to be working with them (and to be in the same frame as them. Looking forward to this journey @kareenakapoorkhan and @ektarkapoor,” wrote Khan beside a photo of herself with Mehta and Kapoor.
In Sujoy Ghosh’s suspenseful adaptation of the Keigo Higashino classic The Devotion of Suspect X, which also stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat, Khan will also make her OTT debut.
