Over a million people have now been sickened by a “fever”, in Pyongyang. State media said Mr. Kim oversaw an emergency politburo meeting at the weekend where he accused officials of mistaking the distribution of the national medicine reserves.
He ordered that the “powerful forces” of the army’s medical association will step in to “immediately stabilize the supply of medicines in Pyongyang City”.
At least 50 people have died and more than a million were suffering what Pyongyang called ” fever”, but it’s unclear how many of those suspected cases tested positive for Covid as North Korea has the only limited testing capacity, so few cases are confirmed.
Kim Jong-Un North Korea Leader has chastised health officials and ordered the corps to help dispense medicines, as the number of covid cases was increasing throughout the country.
