Largest demolition in Indian History ‘Noida Supertech Twin Towers’ will collapse to dust tomorrow
In Noida, where the nearly 100-meter-tall Supertech Twin Towers are scheduled to be razed to the ground with explosives, preparations are in full gear for what would be the largest demolition work in India’s history to be carried out on Sunday (August 28). Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, went over the demolition task’s preparations on Friday. Additionally, he has given instructions to officials to protect public safety at all costs and address environmental concerns in light of the demolition.
The towering twin towers will be destroyed at 2:30 pm on Sunday, and it will only take 30 seconds for them to collapse into dust and debris. But preparations have been ongoing for six months. There have been a number of directives issued, including the evacuation of nearby societies, traffic changes, and the shutdown of the airspace.
For the mission, 3,700 kg of explosives have been loaded into the two high-rise skyscrapers. Residents of surrounding societies have already begun to leave and relocate far from the implosion site, and Noida has seen a rush of packers and movers.
Emerald Court and the nearby ATS Village must be vacated by 7 am tomorrow for about 5,000 inhabitants.

We will hit the button at 2.30 pm on Sunday once we receive confirmation from the police department that the exclusion zone is completely clean.
