Ankita murder case; Resort a den of prostitution and drugs, Pulkit brought ‘special guests,’ say ex-staffers
Former employees of Pulkit Arya’s Vanantara resort, where the 19-year-old girl worked as a receptionist, have reportedly disclosed to police that the establishment was a “den of prostitution and drug abuse,” according to the Times of India. This comes as the investigation into the sensational Ankita Bhandari murder case continues.
Additional staff members were reported in the investigation as saying that Pulkit, the primary suspect in the murder case and the son of expelled BJP leader Vinod Arya, used to “mentally abuse the employees” and would falsely accuse anyone who wanted to resign.
The depositions of these former employees will be recorded and taken into account in the police inquiry, according to the police.
Ankita’s death was reportedly caused by hypoxia caused by drowning on Monday, according to the final post-mortem report released by AIIMS Rishikesh. The report also noted 4-5 antemortem injury signs on Ankita’s corpse.
The teenager’s body bore obvious signs of injuries, and the preliminary autopsy report listed drowning as the cause of death.
In the Ganga-Bhogpur region of Pauri Garhwal district, a married couple who worked at a resort earlier reported to the police that they saw drug usage and prostitution there.
When anonymous women would visit the resort, Pulkit frequently brought some “special visitors” for them. In their rooms, those visitors used to have sexual activities with these women. In addition to the illicit substances, such as hashish, marijuana, and smack, he also provided them costly booze that he had arranged, according to the couple quoted in the Times of India.
