Over 12 lakh registrations for Covid-19 vaccination of teens so far…

According to CoWIN data for today, the number of registrations for Covid-19 immunization of children aged 15-18 has surpassed 12 lakh.

As India prepares to vaccinate children aged 15 to 18 years against COVID-19 on Monday, the CoWIN platform has registered over 12 lakh youngsters. Until Monday afternoon, almost 12 lakh youngsters between the ages of 15 and 18 had registered for their Covid-19 immunization on the CoWIN portal, according to data from the app.

To avoid vaccines being mixed up, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya advised states and union territories to provide separate vaccination centers, session sites, queues, and vaccination teams for the 15-18-year-old age group earlier on Sunday.
