Pak drone crosses India border, drops IED, gun-laden packet in Samba, Jammu & Kashmir
A packet that a Pakistani drone had dropped in Samba near the international boundary was found by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Two IEDs, a detonator, two pistols, and 5 lakh rupees in cash were included in the package along with additional weapons and ammunition. Later, a bomb disposal team would defuse the IEDs.
Notably, in the early hours of Thursday, J&K police discovered a parcel in a field near Jammu's Samba after receiving trustworthy information. Security forces, including the bomb squad team of the J&K police, hurried to the scene as soon as they learned about the suspicious item. Officials said that the suspicious item was sealed when it was found.

One steel Improvised Explosive Device (IED), two pistols, four magazines, many batteries, and a watch were all found inside the package by the J&K police. They also found cash in the parcel delivered to Samba, amounting to almost Rs 5 lakh.
