Union Minister Anurag Thakur and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath released the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) election song “Phir Milenge” on January 21 ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. The event was also attended by Deputy President Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma, as well as BJP state chief Swatantra Dev Singh.
The BJP in Uttar Pradesh released the theme song for the upcoming Assembly elections on Friday. Chairman Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union minister Anurag Thakur, and BJP state chief Swatantra Dev Singh debuted the song “Phir Se BJP” at the party’s Lucknow headquarters.
The song “Phir Milenge primarily focuses on the achievements of the BJP Government in the State.
Adityanath stated on the occasion that when the BJP presented its manifesto in the run-up to the 2017 elections, it pledged to retain nationalism, good governance, and development as the government’s cornerstones. “The BJP government has delivered on its pledges made prior to the 2017 elections. We put an end to the state’s dynasty politics and founded cultural nationalism.
According to him, 45 lakh poor people were provided dwellings, 2.61 crore were given bathrooms, and 1.43 crore households were given free power connections. A total of 1.56 crore homes received free gas connections, with a total of 9 crore people receiving health insurance. A total of one crore senior citizens were given annual pensions of Rs 1,000. “In the state, we have distributed rations to 15 crore people.” The double engine government employed 5 lakh youngsters, 1.61 crore youths in the private sector, and 60 lakh artisans, he said.
He claimed that the government has waived 86 lakh farmers’ agriculture loans worth Rs 36,000 crore. In the last five years, the BJP has provided protection to mothers and daughters. According to the chief minister, bulldozers were employed to destroy the properties of the mafia, who had utilised government patronage to steal from the poor and create an atmosphere of dread.
However, whether the BJP government will “Phir Milenge” in power or not will not be known until the results are released, after the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections will be held in seven segments from February 10 to March 7. Voting will take place in Uttar Pradesh on February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27, and March 3 and 7.
