Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is a 2022 Indian biographical drama film based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation, who was accused of espionage and later exonerated.
A real of the Nambi is no less than a film tragedy, in 1994, he was charged with espionage and arrested. The charges against him were dismissed by the CBI in April 1996 and the Supreme Court declared him not guilty in 1998.
