Security Guard of BJP activists went missing with weapons in J&K
Late Sunday night in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara area, a BJP activist’s personal security guard went missing, along with two firearms.
During the night of December 12 and 13, Saqib Ahmad Tantry, a special police officer (SPO) assigned as a security guard, and BJP activist Abdul Rashid Zargar were left with two weapons, according to authorities. Arif Ahmad, a friend of Saqib’s, is also missing.
The two are being sought by police, according to police. “Saqib Ahmad Tantry had arrived at his residence and then left.” “His family has told us they are looking for him as well,” police stated. Abdul Rashid Zargar, a native of Lolab tehsil in Kupwara district, is currently being held in the PWD facility at Salkoot alongside other protected persons, from whence Saqib and his friend went missing.
