Stone quarry collapse in Mizoram: Eight workers killed, four still missing

After becoming trapped when a stone quarry in Mizoram collapsed on Monday, eight dead bodies were found on Tuesday. The search is still ongoing, and four more workers are still missing.
"Following the post-mortem examination, the dead bodies will be identified. The search operation is still ongoing and will continue until all persons who have gone missing have been located "the National Disaster Response Force stated in a statement.
According to accounts, the stone quarry collapsed just as the employees of the private enterprise in Maudarh, Hnahthial district, got back from lunch. According to reports, the quarry was home to workers, five Hitachi excavators, and other drilling equipment.
Leite village and Hnahthial town volunteers arrived on the scene right away to start a rescue mission. Search and rescue activities also required the assistance of the State Disaster Response Force, Border Security Force, and Assam Rifles.
