The guys from Nagaland, Assam, and Manipur thereby claimed the title of "Strongest Men" in India's Northeast. The Northeast Strong Man India competition was held on Saturday in Dimapur, Nagaland, and Tsuknungakum from Nagaland took home the victory. The Nagaland boy won the 95+ category in this competition's inaugural year.

The first and second runners up spots in the competition were won by Assam boys. Mukti Shyam was the second runner-up, followed by Siddharth Saikia, who took first place.


Another Nagaland man took first place in the 75kg division and received recognition for it. Imsunungkum and Manyang Sashi, two additional men, were selected the runners-up for the same category.

There were multiple rounds in the competition for both men and women separately. Depending on the athlete's body, the male tyre flipping (80 feet), front hold (maximum time), and deadlift (maximum repetition) exercises were given.


In the 65kg+ category, Tamhidi from Assam was crowned the region's strongest woman. Binita Borah raised the prize for the 65 kg division. On November 5, 2022, in Nagaland's Dimapur, the competition was held. In the northeast, this is the first ever running of "Strongest Man India." Along with the victors, numerous young people from various parts of the state volunteered to take part in the competition.
