Taliban’s New Law For The Women, To Wear All-Covered Burka In Public

The Taliban announced on Sunday, that women of Afghanistan covering their faces is mandatory and they should avoid leaving their homes only if necessary. If a woman doesn’t obey, then their male guardian could face prison.

“I’m alarmed by today’s announcement by the Taliban that women must cover their faces in public and leave home only in cases of necessity,” said the UN General Secretary, António Guterres.

“I once again urge the Taliban to keep their promises to Afghan women & girls and their obligations under international human rights law,” he added on his Twitter.

After Afghanistan has been invaded by the Taliban once again, they set up the laws, though they promise to bring peace and allow children to attend schools but wearing burkas. It is hard to comprehend, that the women in Afghanistan have been facing the harshest restrictions as ordering them to wear the all-covering burqa in public and not allowing them to go out of their houses. This is ceasing the slightest possible way of having freedom from the captivity of women in Afghan from many government jobs and girls from secondary education.
