Yes, a terrible incident came to light when a 14-year-old boy was slain over a quarrel by his companions, who allegedly cut his throat, chopped off his hands and legs, packed his body in sacks, and abandoned it in a jungle in Jharkhand’s Deoghar district.
According to Sub-Divisional Police Officer Pawan Kumar, the victim’s family filed a report on Wednesday stating that he went missing suddenly the night before.
The victim’s 14-year-old companion was detained by police during the investigation, according to the officer. His 14-year-old friend, who was detained by the police during the interrogation, told the police that he met the victim outside his house in Rohini village, Jasidih police station area, around 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday and drove to Kumrabad Station Road, where another friend, Avinash, who is 19 years old and a little older than the two, joined them, Kumar stated “.
According to him, the three were on their way to the Palanga Pahad Jungle when Avinash and the victim got into an argument. According to the officer, Avinash then allegedly stabbed him with a knife before slitting his throat.
Avinash allegedly chopped off his hands and legs after killing him, then packed the body parts in three sacks and abandoned them in the bush, Kumar claimed.
The body, however, was discovered and Avinash was apprehended by police. Meanwhile, Kumar stated that during the interrogation, Avinash confessed to the crime and that the blood-stained knife and the victim’s phone had been found.
The accused was charged under IPC sections 302 (murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offense), 120B (criminal conspiracy), and 34 (acts committed by multiple people in pursuit of a common goal).
