The central African Republic will be the first Country to adopt Bitcoin

The central African Republic became the first country to adopt bitcoin as an official currency and only the second in the world to do so.

The Chief of staff of the President said on a bill governing the use of cryptocurrency was adopted unanimously by parliament last week.
They became the first country to do so, although rebel violence has been in the Central African Republic, the poorest, least developed country however, they were rich in gold and diamonds.

Obed Namsio, chief of staff of President Faustin-Archange Touaderav said to the media, “The president supports this bill because it will improve the conditions of Central African citizens”. Adding “a decisive step toward opening up new opportunities for our country”.
