He recently stumbled across a picture of Kailash Giri Brahmachari carrying his blind mother on his shoulders. On Monday, the seasoned actor tweeted that he wanted to support the man and pay for his pilgrimages.
Kailash is depicted in the picture carrying two baskets of bamboo over his shoulders while donning a loincloth. One of the baskets is used to store their luggage, and the other one is where Kailash’s mother is seated. “The shoulder has 20 years of wear on it. It is the contemporary Shravan Kumar, Kailash Giri Brahmachari. He has been carrying his 80-year-old, blind mother on his shoulders while they go to various temples in India for the past 20 years in order to fulfil his mother’s wishes.
“The description in the pic is humbling!,” the seasoned actor tweeted alongside the image. I hope it’s true! So, if anyone knows where this man is, please let us know. The Anupam Cares will have the honour of paying for all of his mother’s pilgrimages with him throughout his life.
