A tragic video has gone viral on social media, showing three women posing for photos on the rocky shores of Oman’s Salalah Al Mughsail beach amid strong seas. The women are seen losing control and getting dragged away by the strong current minutes later when a big wave hits the shore.
While one woman was being dragged away by a man, others were being washed away while pleading for aid. Two males can be seen racing to aid and extending their hands to pull them out in time. Two people have died, and three remain missing in the incident.
A 42-year-old father from Maharashtra’s Sangli district, Shashikant Mhamane, and his six-year-old son drowned at a beach in Oman, while his daughter went missing, according to a family member on Wednesday. The Royal Oman Police confirmed in a tweet that the missing youngster was being searched for.
