Trinamool Celebrates “Khela Hobe Dibas” in Tripura…
TMC workers observe ‘Khela Hobe Diwas’ in Agartala on Monday which was followed by a game of football and sloganeering. The TMC party workers played football and raised slogans “Khela Hobe” means “the game will go on.”
The slogan “Khela Hobe” was first raised by the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamta Banarjee during the 2021 election held in West Bengal.
The TMC founder Mamta Banarjee had last month announced that August 16th will be observed as “Khela Hobe” Dibas.
A video from Tripura’s Agartala, shared by news agency ANI, shows TMC workers playing football and raising ‘Khela Hobe’ slogans.
Speaking on the occasion, TMC leader Santanu Sen said: “In 2021, on the soil of West Bengal, a slogan was raised by Mamata Banerjee ‘Khela Hobe’ which has become the brand slogan of the entire opposition and it was witnessed even on the floor of the parliament”.
“Now we are standing on the grounds of Tripura where there is misrule and hooliganism of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). And here we are pledging that ‘Khela Hobe’ and ‘Khela Hobe’ for development, democracy, permanent political independence and change in 2023”, he added.
Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress youth wing’s president and Tollywood heart-throb Saayoni Ghosh have arrived in Tripura this morning to take part in the expansion activities of the TMC organization and meet the youth leaders of Tripura.
Meanwhile, a political dispute has been going on between the TMC and BJP in Tripura for quite some time. Tripura is scheduled to have its Legislative Assembly election in early 2023.
