Two LeT terrorists shot dead in J&K; Associated with the killing of the bank manager.
An encounter in the Kanjiular area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian late Tuesday night resulted in the deaths of two terrorists linked to the Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). Jan Mohammad Lone was one of the terrorists slain in the operation, according to authorities. Lone, a Shopian local, was involved in the Kulgam district’s intentional death of a bank manager.
Tufail Ganai has been identified as the second terrorist. The site of the meeting yielded incriminating materials, weaponry, and ammo, including an AK 47 rifle and a pistol, according to authorities.
“Jan Mohd Lone of #Shopian has been identified as one of the #terrorists slain. He was implicated in the recent death of Vijay Kumar, Bank manager on 2/6/22 in #Kulgam district, among other #terror offences,” tweeted Kashmir Zone Police, citing IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar.
