Video: Chattisgarh Education Minister Explains The ‘Benefit of Alcohol’ at De-Addiction Event
On social media, two videos featuring Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, the education minister for Chattisgarh, outlining the advantages of drinking alcohol and the causes of traffic accidents have gone viral.
He is heard discussing the advantages of liquor and how to consume it properly in one of the films.
Ironically, the user who posted the video on Twitter claimed to have been a speaker at a deaddiction event.
“People talk about alcohol and the harms it causes, but nobody discusses the numerous positives it also has.
Additionally, when we discuss alcohol, we should keep in mind that there is a specific ratio in which alcohol should be consumed as well as the proper technique to dilute it.
“Roads should be good, but everyone should exhibit restraint,” he added, adding that regardless of whether someone is speeding, using a phone, using drugs, or smoking cigarettes, they should exercise discipline.
