People are praising the three young girls' courageous response, who did their utmost to escape the situation while supporting one another throughout, as they watch the CCTV footage from the incident go viral. The lift's abrupt breakdown is caught on camera for the whole of the minute-long clip. As they had no option to exit the elevator, the girls can be observed at first becoming anxious.
One of the girls tries to use any lift button as the others are in a rush to call for assistance. Nothing they did at the moment was effective, so she also tried to force open the lift doors. After some time, the girls were rescued and returned to their homes, where they could feel safe.

The event happened on November 29 in Ghaziabad's Crossings Republik township. In an attempt to reach the Assotech Nest Society's ground floor, the girls were caught on the building's eleventh floor. On the 20th floor, the girls boarded the elevator, but they became trapped halfway down.
One of the children's fathers, Shivam Gehlot, accused Chitra Chaturvedi, the Assotech Nest AOA president, and Abhay Jha, the AOA secretary, of being to fault for the incident. He charged irresponsibility on the part of the RWA members in charge of the lifts' long-overdue repair. In response to the rising number of events involving lifts, which routinely break down and provide a risk to people, Gehlot claimed that several pleas had been made, but no action had been taken until the viral incident.
