Watch: An Adorable Video By Ro Vince Shows A Baby Elephant Tumbling Down In Its Way
Elephants love to play with mud and water. The mud keeps their skin cool. Their big ears also work like fans. The elephants flap these to keep themselves cool. One of the videos that surfaced on Twitter shows a baby elephant (calf) and a mother elephant has been seen tumbling down to the Ewaso Nyiro river in Samburu National Reserve, where you can see the baby elephant instead of slide down like any other elephant does, following the steps of its mother, the calf roll down, unlike its mother.
Elephants usually slid down on the ramp area, however, in this amazing piece of footage by Ro Vince, you can see an adorable calf playfully tumbling down his way gracefully into the river.
The fun facts about elephants, 99% of all baby elephants are born at night and the gestation period of a baby elephant is 18 to 22 months, which means more than a year. When they are born they weigh around 250 pounds and are 3 feet tall.
