Meghalaya: NEET exams were conducted for the first time at Don Bosco College-Tura
The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) has been conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) at Don Bosco College, West Garo Hills for the first time ever.
Every year, the NTA-NEET tests are held at the Khasi Hills Exam Center. The examinees had challenges as a result of having to travel from the Garo Hills to the Khasi Hills. However, starting this year, 2022, students from the area will be eligible to take their NEET examinations in Tura, according to Swapnil Tembe, deputy commissioner of West Garo Hills (WGH). The DC went on to commend Ram Singh, his predecessor, and numerous others whose efforts had sparked the demand for the establishment of a NEET centre in Tura.
Furthermore, the efforts weren’t in vain. The NTA’s NEET exams, which have been administered on Sunday, were successfully administered in Tura along with the rest of the country as a result.
