Woman Gives Birth To Baby Boy On Delhi Metro Station Platform

Giving birth to a child is the most wonderful and unfathomable event a woman can have, but giving birth on a train platform is unique. In Delhi, though, a lady welcomed her baby in a metro station.

On Thursday, a 22-year-old woman gave birth to a baby at Anand Vihar Metro Station, with the help of a female CISF officer and other female passengers. The incident occurred about 3.25 p.m., as she was waiting for the metro on platform 3 and experiencing labour pains.

A senior Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officer claimed, “Constable Anamika Kumari, who was assigned at the station for security duty, was rushed to assist the woman.” “She arranged for a sheet and assisted in the delivery of the newborn boy on the platform with the support of several women passengers,” the officer stated.

According to the statement, she and her husband expressed their gratitude to the CISF personnel for their rapid response and necessary help at this difficult moment. According to reports, the mother and her baby were taken by ambulance to a neighbouring hospital.
