An unidentified woman rushed to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet unclothe at the premiere of George Miller’s ” Three Thousand Years of Longing” on Friday.
A woman unclad delivered a message to the crowd at the event by painting on her body with blue and yellow color on top of it she wrote in black paint “stop raping us”, and down to her waist red paint handprint along with red paint splattered on her legs.
A protester at the screening of “Three Thousand Years Of Longing during the 75th annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on May 20, 2022, in Cannes, France, stripped off her clothes only painting her body fell to her knees screaming in front of photographers, “don’t rape us” and Cannes authorities rushed over to cover her in a coat, and blocked the camera from filming.
The motive behind the attempt was seemingly over the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s emotional address at the opening ceremony of the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival through a live satellite video address and called on the filmmakers to confront dictators. Heretofore, during Russia’s millitary operation in Ukraine, there have been several reports of Russian soldiers raping Ukrainian civilians.
