13-year-old kid accused of extorting Rs.5 lakh from a classmate in Hyderabad

A complaint of extortion has been filed against a 13-year-old minor boy in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills Police Station. The child is accused of coercing, blackmailing, and intimidating a classmate into stealing Rs. 5 lakh from his home.

The father of the boy’s classmate discovered that the cash he had kept in his house’s almirah was stolen. He looked for the missing money and when he couldn’t find it, he questioned his family members about it. When he questioned his kid about the money, he disclosed that he had taken it from the almirah and given it to a 13-year-old classmate.

When the boy’s father discovered the truth, he immediately went to the police station to reclaim the stolen money and filed a complaint against his son’s classmate.

Extortion charges were then filed against the 13-year-old child.

According to sources, the youngster told his father the truth that a 13-year-old boy, the juvenile offender forcibly took over his classmate’s books while they were at school and blackmailed him, saying he would return the books only if he could steal money from his house.
