According to local media sources, the accused plotted the attack a day after threatening the victim with terrible repercussions. Fearing the ramifications of his warning, the victim arrived at work with her father on Thursday morning, unaware that he had been waiting outside her office in an automobile. He’d arrived with a pair of thin gloves and a 1-litre bottle of acid.

She noticed Nagesh with an acid bottle as she waited for the office to open and tried to flee, but he tracked her down and spilled acid on her before fleeing. She was taken to the hospital and made a statement there. She is currently stable and recovering in Bengaluru’s St John’s Hospital.

The Health Minister of Karanataka told ANI today that he believes the police will be able to apprehend the culprits within a few days. He also promised the victim financial assistance and suggested that the case should be tried in a fast-track court so that justice might be served quickly.

The assault occurred near the Sunkadakatte region of West Bengaluru, at the finance company where she worked, according to police. The defendant was employed in a garment industry.

Police took statements from the woman’s family members, including her parents, on Friday. They informed police that Nagesh had harassed her while she was in college.

“We would have taken action against him if they had complained earlier, and this incident could have been avoided.” “Nagesh used to threaten her with not letting her be with any other man if she didn’t embrace his love,” a police source claimed.
