3 Dibrugarh University students are expelled after campus violence

The incident that occurred a few days ago resulted to the expulsion of three students from the Assam Dibrugarh University. Several Dibrugarh University students reportedly assaulted the security guards on duty on the campus, along with a few former students who had already finished their studies. The incident prompted a conference to be called by the administration to determine the best course of action and the appropriate sanctions for the offenders.

The Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) was called to a meeting last Thursday, November 17, to discuss this. The three current students were also dismissed from the classes they were enrolled in in accordance with the university's rules and regulations. Additionally, they were not allowed to return to the Dibrugarh University campus ever.
