33 accused were arrested in a gang rape of a minor held in Dombivali, Maharastra.

Another heinous crime against women was exposed in Dombivali, Maharastra, when a gang rape case was reported after the victim went to the Manpada Authorities Station on September 22 and reported her horror, prompting the police to launch an inquiry.

The girl was allegedly gang-raped many times in Thane district over the course of eight months. The alleged incidents occurred between January 29 and September 22 this year in several locales, including Dombivli, Badlapur, Murbad, and Rabale. According to authorities, the victim has named 33 people as suspects.

According to the preliminary inquiry, the prime accused (her friend) reportedly raped her in January and shot a video and blackmailed her with the videotape. He shared the same footage with his friends, who used it to threaten her and continue to rape her.

The main accused and his friends reportedly gang-raped the minor at four to five different locations over the course of nine months. They assaulted the minor and brought her to a number of locations, including Dombivli, Badlapur, Murbad, and Rabale, among others, where they raped her.

The Manpada police station in Dombivli has registered a case against 33 people under IPC sections 376 (rape), 376 (n) (repeated rape), 376 (d) (gang-rape), 376 (3) (rape on a woman under the age of sixteen) and provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, based on the girl’s complaint.

The Thane Police have apprehended all of the defendants in the Dombivli gang-rape case, according to a latest update. All 33 people have been detained, including two juveniles. The minors who have been charged have been placed in the Child Correction Home.
