A massive fire broke out at a furniture shop in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area.

On Monday morning, a massive fire broke out in a furniture scrap shop in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar neighbourhood, but no one was injured, according to municipal officials.

They said the fire started at 10.30 a.m. in the shop at D’Silva Compound in Asalfa’s Sunder Baug district.

According to a local official, at least eight fire engines and water tankers were dispatched to the scene, and firefighting is still ongoing.

The official stated, “There was no report of anyone being injured.”

They added that after being alerted, police and ward staff were on the scene, as well as ambulances.

They also stated the cause of the fire had yet to be determined.
