The senior actor's star profile was being improperly exploited by the defendants to promote their own businesses, according to Justice Chawla.
"It is conceivable that the plaintiff will experience irreparable loss and injury. Some of the actions can potentially hurt his reputation. An ex parte ad interim order is made in light of the aforementioned "said Justice Chawla.
The lawsuit claimed that by improperly linking to Kaun Banega Crorepati, mobile application developers were using Bachchan's name, likeness, and voice to run lotteries (KBC). Bachchan has also asked for a restraining order against a number of companies, including book publishers and T-shirt sellers. The case will be heard in March of the following year.
