An earthquake of a magnitude of 4.1 rocks Himachal Pradesh.

According to the National Centre for Seismology, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 shook Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday night. The NCS reported that the tremor occurred at a depth of 5 km, 27 km to the north-northwest of Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, at 9.32 p.m. There are no current reports of any injuries or losses.

This is the most recent of several earthquake tremors that have recently been felt in India. According to the NCS, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 was felt in Amritsar, Punjab, on the night between Sunday and Monday. Around 3:42 in the morning, the tremors were felt. 

The Delhi-NCR region experienced an earthquake earlier on Saturday night. Around 8 o'clock in the evening, people started to feel the tremors.

At around 7:57 p.m. on Saturday, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported an earthquake in Nepal with a magnitude of 5.4. It had stated that the earthquake had occurred 10 kilometres below the surface.

Three days after a 6.3-magnitude earthquake with its epicentre in Nepal left six people dead in the neighbouring country, terrified individuals fled their homes when the tremor struck.

In the past week, three earthquakes have struck Nepal, a seismically active country.

In several areas of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and some western Uttar Pradesh districts like Bijnor, Muzaffarnagar, and Shamli, there were tremors as well. 

According to data from the National Center for Seismology, the Himalayan region near the border between Nepal and Uttarakhand saw at least eight earthquakes of varying magnitude between November 8 and November 12.
