Assam, Meghalaya to Receive Heavy Rain Showers for Next 5 Days: IMD
Assam and Meghalaya are anticipated to have substantial rainfall over the next five days, according to a forecast made on Saturday by the India Meteorological Department.
Meghalaya is also likely to have comparable rainfall, in addition to Assam. According to the press release, light to moderate rainfall is expected in the other Northeastern Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, and Tripura on August 27 and 29. Additionally, Sikkim, West Bengal, and other Sub-Himalayan regions, as well as Bihar on August 27 and 28, are predicted to experience isolated, intense rainfall on August 27.
