Being a political leader does not entail running over anyone; Says BJP leader

Swatantra Dev Singh, the UP BJP head, has remarked that being a political leader does not entail mowing down anyone with a car.

The BJP leader has spoken out against the Lakhimpur incident, in which an SUV allegedly mowed down eight people, including four farmers.

On Sunday evening, the UP BJP president addressed party members at the maiden session of the party’s minority front’s state executive in Lucknow.

“Elections should be won based on a person’s behavior. Politics is all about helping your community and country. There are no issues of caste or religion. Being a politician does not imply looting or mowing down people with your Action or process. We’ve come together to help the impoverished. “Politics is not a part-time job,” Singh stated, in what is now being interpreted as a direct indictment of Union minister Ajay Mishra Teni’s son, Ashish Mishra, the prime suspect in the case.

“Two people from a poor background became the Prime Minister of India and the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh,” Swatantra Dev Singh remarked, praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. When no one else was interested, the Prime Minister set up bank accounts for the impoverished. In the state, they built a total of seven lakh residences. Was there a question concerning faith and votes? Under Modi’s leadership, vaccines are being delivered to other nations. People’s lifestyles are changing as a result of the provision of gas, electricity, and bathrooms.” (IANS)

People all around the country were outraged after the Lakhimpur Kheri event, which murdered eight people, including farmers. Politicians and citizens from all walks of life banded together to condemn the crime.
